  1. Heat about 200 ml full cream milk, add one flat tablespoon of honey and about one good teaspoon of butter or margarine. Use a saucepan to heat the mixture.

  2. Boil ingredients slowly until the butter melts. This forms a yellow layer to the top.
  3. Pour into a cup and allow to slightly cool before giving to children.
  4. Sip slowly making sure you drink the yellow part also.
  5. Coughing should stop or subside within an hour of drinking this mixture.
  6. Make sure you keep yourself warm and if you have dry coughs drink lots of water!
